Frequently asked questions
Which operating systems are supported?
Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2016 and later, macOS 12 and later, and major Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, AlmaLinux, Rocky, Fedora) on Intel/AMD and ARM.
Will it change things without asking?
Only the safe fixes you allow — like clearing temporary files or turning the firewall back on. Installing software, changing settings or restarting needs approval from an administrator, and you can switch automatic fixes off completely.
Can employees use Care AI for other things?
No. Care AI is limited to IT and system problems on the device. Other requests are politely declined and counted on your dashboard.
Does TechGuru see my documents?
No. The agent collects technical health information (performance, disks, security settings, installed software). It does not read, copy or upload your personal files, passwords or browser data.
What if something goes wrong?
